Mike Guernon is VLP’s Conflicts & Risk Management Analyst. Mike has over 25 years of experience in conflicts, compliance and risk management. After graduating with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Political Science from Rhode Island College, Mike moved to California to pursue a Master of Arts in Political Science at California State University, Chico. Mike began his risk management career at Cooley LLP, where he served as Firmwide Manager of Intake, Conflicts and Calendar. In 2007, Mike transitioned to Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe to work as Director of Intake, Risk & Compliance. Mike has been a frequent presenter on risk management topics at various technology and peer conferences. Mike joined VLP in June 2024.
